The Municipal Council of Al-Madam area held a coordination meeting with the consultant Basons Airfares Ltd. to discuss the proposals for the entrances and exits of the service street of the commercial area in the Seih Al-Gharif roundabout. The council received complaints that the current entrances were insufficient, and demanded that they add entrances serving the area to enter the commercial area. The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sultan Mohammed bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Municipal Council, His Excellency Salem Obaid Al Mayyala, Director of Al Madam Municipality, Eng. Khalifa Musabeh Al Ketbi, Head of the Engineering Department, and Eng. Ahmed Sheikh Bakri, Project Consultant

headed by Sultan Muhammad Madad bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Council, and in the presence of Saeed Muhammad Al-Rashidi, Vice President and members of the Council, Juma Muhammad Ali Sharara Al-Ketbi, Salem Matar Hamad Saud Al-Ketbi, Shariji Muhammad Eid Al-Ketbi, Abdullah Saber Saeed Al-Ketbi, Ali Awad Ali Omair Al-Ketbi and Salem Obaid Al-Mayala The director of the Madam area municipality, and from the general secretariat of the council, Abdullah Matar Al Ketbi, the secretary, and Hussam Al-Zoubi, the council’s rapporteur. The Council reviewed the reports of the committees’ work during the last period, and Ibn Howaiden thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Ruler of the Emirate, may God protect him, for his generous instructions regarding the appointment of a number of citizens in the Emirate and the payment of debts in order to provide a decent life for citizens. The council also approved a number of recommendations put forward by the council’s committees during the past months, and reviewed the projects being implemented in the region.
